Umaga v. Jeff Hardy
Hardy came right at Umaga and of course, came up on the short end of the stick. Umaga quickly pounced on the challenger and choked Hardy on the ropes. Jeff fought back with some punches to Umaga’s gut but after coming off the ropes, was hammered down to the mat by a back elbow. Umaga hit a head butt and stomped Hardy around the ring for a little while before the big man sent him careening sternum first into the turnbuckles.
Umaga sent the challenger reeling over the ropes and to the floor, leaving him in a heap as we went to commercial break.

We came back to Umaga slapping Hardy all over the ring. He slapped on a claw move on Hardy’s shoulder, keeping him at bay on the mat. Hardy fought out of the hold somehow, but Umaga caught him coming off the ropes and planted him with a Samoan drop. Umaga scaled the ropes and went for a diving head butt, but no one was home.
Hardy began to make some inroads, hitting some flying forearms and the mule kick. He went for a sunset flip and when Umaga tried to sit out, Hardy avoided him and hit a baseball kick to the grill for a two count. Hardy kept it coming and went for a twist of fate but as Umaga pushed him off, settled for whisper in the wind instead for another near fall.
Hardy looked for a high cross body block, only to get caught in mid air and getting hit with a tilt a whirl belly to belly. Umaga scaled the ropes again but Hardy was able to cut him off and knock him to the mat, stunning him. Hardy jumped on top and BARELY grabbed the three count for the victory.

Jeff Hardy came out next implied that he might be Vince McMahon's son but he "sure as hell hopes he isn't"..
The lawyer confirmed that Vince McMahon 'illegitimate child' is NOT Jeff Hardy - Hardy: "Priase the Lord!"
Vince McMahon booked Jeff Hardy in a match against The Great Khali for the WWE Intercontinental title.
The Great Khali v. Jeff Hardy
Hardy tried striking and that was just stupid. Khali picked him up and tossed him into the corner like nothing. Hardy came bounding off the ropes only to get turned inside out by a Khali lariat.
Khali tossed Hardy in the corner and laid some boots to him before hitting a few back elbows. Khali tossed him into the corner but Hardy came sailing off with whisper in the wind. He sort of caught Khali but got laid out with a big boot shortly thereafter. Khali hit his spinning back kick before looking for the claw.
Khali grabbed Hardy’s head like it was a grapefruit. It took a little while, but Hardy eventually passed out. Khali pointed down at him while pinning him with one foot.

Intercontinental Championship
Jeff Hardy v. Shelton Benjamin
Shelton started things off with a bang, uncorking a quick flurry on punches followed by a nifty northern lights suplex. Hardy grabbed the legs and sat out on Benjamin’s groin (that sounds bad) and went for a quick cover.
The two struggled in a tie up until Hardy scored with an arm drag take down into an arm bar. Shelton reversed the hold but found himself quickly countered and back on his back on the mat. Hardy slammed Shelton into the corner and laid the boots to him briefly before eating some knees to the ribs. Shelton avoided a back drop to the mat and landed on the apron, hitting a shoulder thrust before going for a vertical suplex. Hardy blocked and sent Shelton clattering to the floor before flinging himself over the top rope and onto the waiting Shelton on the floor.

We came back to Shelton in control wrenching away at Hardy’s neck. Apparently Hardy crashed and burned over the break and then ate a kick to his soft head. Shelton fought off the brief comeback with a nasty head-drop-o for a two count.
Shelton booted away at Hardy in the corner before hitting a running ass to the face. He quickly gathered the champion and connected with a neck breaker for another near fall before going right back to the chin lock. Benjamin eventually shimmied into a cover attempt before looking for side kick, but Hardy blocked it and both nailed each other with a lariat.
Hardy gained the advantage with a snap mare before hitting whisper in the wind. Hardy went for a twist of fate, but Shelton countered with a back breaker for another two count. Shelton pounded away at Jeff before hitting a side Russian leg sweep and again, we have another near fall.
Hardy tried to hit a vertical suplex, but Shelton swooped out of it and hit a neck breaker and STILL can’t keep Hardy down. Shelton missed a charge to the corner before Hardy went to the top quickly. Shelton leaped up to the top rope but got knocked off and got crushed with a Swanton bomb for the three count.

Jeff Hardy & Candice Michelle v. Shelton Benjamin & Beth Phoenix
Shelton rushed Hardy to the corner and hit some shoulder thrusts and some punches before sending Jeff off the ropes. Jeff hit a kick to the gut and some punches of his own before hitting a flying forearm.
Hardy grabbed a go behind before Shelton shook him off only to get mule kicked to the outside. Beth went to knock Jeff off the top rope, but Candice made the save. She and Jeff mounted the top rope and BOTH flew off, clattering into the heel team on the floor to a big pop.
****Commercial****
We came back to the tables being turned and Beth Phoenix putting on a nasty stretch to the Women’s champ. Candice rallied with the crowd and began fighting back. Candice fought out and Beth tagged in Shelton.
Jeff roared across the ring and hit a nasty whisper in the wind before having a whip reversed. Hardy nailed a boot in the corner and came flying out before Shelton caught him in mid air and power bombed his neon green behind. Shelton slapped on a rear chin lock and Jeff, like Candice, used the crowd to rally him.
Hardy hit some punches only to get nailed with a Benjamin back breaker for a two count. The two bounded off the ropes and hit dueling cross body blocks before the girls got the tags. The two squared off before Candice hit a hurricanranna. Beth missed a charge in the corner before Candice nailed a face buster. WOW Candice is sharp tonight.
Candice hit a jaw breaker while Jeff and Shelton battled. Candice used Jeff as a Springboard and hit a back elbow but Shelton piled Jeff out of the ring. Beth Phoenix pounced on Candice and hit the fisherman’s buster and that’s it.
