Jeff Hardy was in the back painting. Maria asked him what he was doing and he said he was watching the press conference from last week put on by Melina and Nitro. He asked her what she thought he was doing and she said ‘looks like watching paint dry”. Hardy said that was exactly what he was doing.

Johnny Nitro v. Jeff Hardy


The two circled up and attempted a lock up but Nitro caught a quick drop kick and a single leg take down for a quick pin fall attempt. Hardy attempted an inside cradle and got a one count. Nitro grabbed Hardy’s leg but was mule kicked to the outside. Melina tended to Nitro as we went to commercial break.

****Commercial****

We came back to Nitro clamping down on a reverse chin lock on the challenger. Hardy fought back but got nailed in the face with a running knee lift. Nitro converted the hold into a reverse back-breaker, which got him a two count. Nitro pummeled the challenger, hitting some hard shots to the kidney area before following up with a big back suplex. Nitro stretched out the back before kicking away at it on the ground.

Nitro went for his spinning leg drop but no one was home. Hardy charged the champion, but was hanged up on the top ropes by the champion. Nitro kept up his now seemingly relentless assault, focusing in on Hardy’s back. Hardy finally hit a back elbow and got some feet to Nitro’s face but was caught in a double back breaker/ Russian leg sweep combination that nearly gave Nitro the win.

Nitro clamped in a bear hug on Hardy. Hardy elbowed his way out but was rushed to the corner and perched up on the top rope. Hardy fought it all off and flipped over and delivered a big electric chair drop. The two exchanged blows in the middle of the ring before Hardy caught Nitro with three clubbing blows in a row and a back body drop. Hardy hit a side Russian leg sweep and a leg drop/roll up combo that got him a two count. Nitro caught Hardy with a boot to the face and went for a cross body block but Hardy rolled through and got a two count. Nitro planted hardy with a standing moonsault but only got a two count. Hardy came back and hit a corkscrew senton off the top rope and he got a two count.

Hardy went for the Swanton bomb but Melina jumped on the apron just long enough to enable Nitro to interrupt the hold. Hardy however, quickly countered into a twist of fate. Hardy went for the cover, but Melina jumped in the ring and hammered the referee to get her man the victory.

Winner: Jeff Hardy via DQ

Todd Grisham was in the back with Johnny Nitro. He asked him to react to Jeff Hardy’s comments last week regarding his press conference. They bashed Mick Foley at first before commenting on Hardy. Hardy popped up in the background painting a picture and watching it. Nitro turned around and flipped out, kicking the picture. Hardy doused both Nitro and Melina with paint before leaving them to wallow in their own embarrassment.

Six Man Tag Team Match
Edge, Randy Orton, & Johnny Nitro v. John Cena, Carlito, & Jeff Hardy


Nitro started off the match with Jeff Hardy. Nitro went right after him pummeling his potential challenger at Unforgiven. Hardy reversed in the corner and whipped the young champion into the buckles and hit a springboard drop kick of sorts to Nitro’s test. He hit the heels to the abdomen before tagging in Carlito.

Nitro and Carlito brawled to the corner before Carlito hit a big drop kick. He went for the cover but only got two. Nitro bum rushed Carlito to the corner and tagged in Orton. Orton whipped Carlito to the corner but was caught with an elbow on the way in. Carlito followed up with a clothesline and a back elbow that nearly got him a pin fall.

Edge tagged in an continued quickly gained the advantage. Carlito hit a hard hurricanranna however and nearly got a fall. Cena tagged in and Edge quickly tagged in Orton. Orton deliberated for a little while with his corner before squaring off against Cena. Cena ran in with a boot to the gut and hit a great fisherman’s suplex that almost got him a pin. Cena v-lined right for Edge allowing Orton to sneak in and hit a suplex.

Orton wrenched in an arm bar on the former champion before tagging in Johnny Nitro. Nitro worked over Cena with punches and kicks. Cena fought back, tackling his opponent and tagged in Carlito. He quickly hit a vertical suplex and went for a cover but was dumped into the wrong corner. Orton tagged in and hit a beautiful drop kick, which almost got him a pin fall.

Carlito fought out of a headlock and hit a stiff lariat and went for a cover. Carlito continued to pound away on Orton. Hardy tagged in and stomped away on Orton in the corner. Hardy hit a standing cross body block, which sent Orton to the mat. He poured more on, hitting a clothesline, which sent Orton to the floor. Hardy launched himself over the top rope and into Orton’s body. Edge sneaked up and hit a spear on Hardy on the outside. The babyfaces quickly came to his aid and rolled him back in the ring.

****Commercial****

We returned to Edge working over Jeff Hardy with a half crab. Hardy almost reached his corner but Nitro came sprawling over to make the save. Nitro continued to work Hardy’s leg, claming in some sort of Knee stretch but Hardy countered with a neck scissors take down. Orton quickly tagged in and stomped away on the wounded limb of Hardy.

Edge tagged in and stomped on the leg again. Hardy fought back with punches to the gut but was quickly put back in his place with a clothesline. Hardy fought back yet again however, with a flying forearm.

Carlito got the tag and began to clean house. Carlito went for his springboard back elbow, but Edge yanked the rope down causing Carlito to careen out onto the floor. Edge tagged back into the match and cinched in a toehold, keeping Carlito at bay. Nitro tagged in and pummeled the second-generation star with punches on the mat. Nitro hit a hangman’s neck-breaker and went for the cover, which the referee didn’t get to quickly enough.

Nitro distracted the ref and Edge hit a leg drop on the apron. Nitro slapped on a sleeper hold and applied pressure while Carlito faded. Eventually Carlito fought out of the hold and this time, hit his springboard back elbow.

Cena got the tag and went to work cleaning everyone’s clock. Orton went for an RKO but Carlito hit the back cracker. Jeff Hardy hit the Swanton bomb on Orton before Cena went for the FU on Edge. Nitro made the save but found himself nailed with the FU and got the STFU to which he quickly tapped out to.

Randy Orton + Nitro & Melina + Chris Masters + Carlito Cool + Super Crazy + Jeff Hardy
Randy Orton came out and said despite the trauma to his beautiful face he is still the future of the industry.. Johnny Nitro & Melina Perez came out and Nitro took exception and said if anybody is the future, it's him! Johnny Nitro said Randy Orton has been coasting on his reputation for years and said he has no championships.. Randy Orton said he could take the Intercontinental title any time he wants not to mention he could take Melina.. Chris Masters came out to interrupt and said he was the future of the business and nobody breaks the Masterlock.. Randy Orton, Johnny Nitro & Melina Perez laughed together and made fun of Chris Masters losing to Super Crazy.. Carlito Cool showed up next and said Randy Orton might have won at Unforgiven but added that he's a sore loser! Carlito Cool attacked everybody and started a big brawl, until Super Crazy and Jeff Hardy joined in the action.. Jonathan Coachman came up on the big screen and ordered a six-pack challenge for the Intercontinental title!!

Johnny Nitro v. Jeff Hardy v. Carlito v. Randy Orton v. Chris Masters v. Super Crazy


We came back to absolute mayhem in the ring. Orton kicked out of a Chris Masters cover attempt. Nitro and crazy went after each other on the outside while Orton asserted himself over Hardy on the inside, nearly getting a pin fall. Masters booted away at Carlito while Super Crazy nearly got a cover on the champion. Nitro tried to steal another one on Jeff Hardy with a roll up and yanking the tights. Orton and Masters double teamed Carlito in the corner while Super Crazy broke up the Nitro-Hardy affair. Hardy rolled up Super Crazy and nearly got the win. Masters took control of Carlito before Carlito began to fight back with some chops to the chest and a boot to the gut. Carlito hit what looked like his back elbow and almost got the pin fall.

Jeff Hardy in the meantime hit a nice front slam on the champion but his cover attempt was broken up. Orton hanged Hardy on the ropes before stomping away on his broken body. Super Crazy and Carlito fought over who would pin Nitro.

Action picked up once Carlito tossed himself over the top rope to hit a cross body block on Randy Orton. Crazy went for a wild move but was cut off by Johnny Nitro. Nitro went for a springboard move of his own, but all four competitors on the outside quickly moved out of the way and Nitro crashed and burned. Super Crazy popped in and hit a pretty moonsault to the floor, flooring everyone.

****Commercial****

Super Crazy broke up a pin attempt by Carlito as we came back. Orton hit a brutal powerslam on Johnny Nitro but again was thwarted by Super Crazy. Carlito worked over Nitro in the corner and flew off to cut off Orton with a cross body block and nearly got the pin fall. Carlito continued his assault on Nitro, hitting an inverted DDT. Orton broke up the pin fall attempt and drop kicked Carlito mid air to the outside of the ring.

Jeff Hardy cleaned out both Nitro and Orton before the two heels double teamed Hardy wit ha back body drop. Orton hit an RKO out of nowhere on Nitro before getting nailed with a Carlito back cracker. Masters took advantage and clamped on the master lock for just long enough to get smeared with a Super Crazy missile drop kick. Crazy went for the moon sault but was shoved off the top rope by Jeff Hardy who hit the Swanton Bomb on Orton. Nitro leapt to his feet, tossing Hardy to the outside and covering Orton for the win.

The Coach confronted Shelton Benjamin about what he said last week about being held back because he' black.. Jonathan Coachman said it really embarassed him and that Shelton Benjamin should have come to him first.. Shelton Benjamin said that Dick Cheney had more soul than The Coach, and Jeff Hardy came in talking "black".. Jonathan Coachman then booked Shelton Benjamin vs Jeff Hardy in a match tonight..

The finish saw Benjamin counter a Twist of Fate from Hardy, but Hardy then rolled up Benjamin to get the pinfall.
