Rated RKO & MNM v. Degeneration X & The Hardy Boys

All four went at it and the faces dispatched of the heels in relatively short order. Triple H went to work on Randy Orton on the outside, bashing Orton’s head off the announce table before tossing him back into the ring.

Triple H booted away at Orton in the corner before choking him out against the ropes. The Game bashed Orton’s head off of HBK’s boot before tagging in his DX partner. Michaels hit a swinging neck breaker and landed a rough chop to Orton’s chest. Triple H tagged back in and landed a boot to the gut and mounted the third generation star and pounded away at his forehead.

Orton managed to tag in Nitro who was getting turned inside out as well. Matt Hardy tagged in an hit a back elbow and a body slam. Hardy followed up with a leg drop before going for the pin fall. Jeff Hardy tagged in and hit a nice sling shot drop kick and went for a cover, but Mercury broke it up. Hardy went for the cover again but again Nitro kicked out. Matt tagged in and he and his brother stacked up MNM in the corner and hit their springboard spalsh.

****Commercial****

We came back to Hardy pounding away on Johnny Nitro. Nitro countered a drop kick in the corner and tagged in Joey Mercury. Mercury pounded away at Jeff before tagging in Randy Orton. Orton put the boots to Hardy before quickly tagging in Johnny Nitro. He and Mercury clotheslined Jeff Hardy using the bottom rope before hitting their double gut buster. Nitro hit his spinning leg drop and went for the cover, but Hardy kicked out.

Edge goaded the crowd before pummeling Hardy and slapping on a rear chin lock. Hardy fought out of the hold only to get hit with an Edge standing drop kick. Edge tagged in Orton and the two hit a nice side suplex, inverted DDT combo. Edge tagged back in and went for the cover but Matt Hardy broke it up. Edge tagged back out to Orton and he hit his Garvin stomp before hitting a big knee drop to Hardy’s face. Orton slapped on a rear chin lock long enough to tag in Joey Mercury. Hardy hit whisper in the wind out of nowhere and tagged in Matt. Matt hit a double clothesline before all hell broke loose.

Eventually it ended up coming down to Triple H one on one with Orton. Triple H hit a big spine buster. Kenny showed up and whacked HBK with a chair shot ringside. Triple H went to chase Kenny. Matt Hardy hit a side effect on Randy Orton. Jeff Hardy mounted the buckles to hit a Swanton Bomb, but Joey Mercury shoved him off the top rope and to the guardrail. Edge climbed in the ring quickly and hit Matt Hardy with a big spear and got the 1, 2, and 3 for the win.

Winners: Rated RKO & MNM via pin fall

Umaga v. Jeff Hardy

Umaga tossed Hardy off to the side before Hardy leapt on the apron and tried to hit a sunset flip. Umaga sat out but no one was home. Hardy did some more springy stuff and almost scored a pin fall. Hardy came flying at Umaga but was killed with a back elbow.

Umaga tossed him into the corner but missed on a splash attempt. Hardy hit a whisper in the wind but both men looked pretty gassed already.

****Commercial****

We came back to Umaga absolutely pummeling Hardy in the corner. He dragged Hardy out and put him in some sort of shoulder vice before cracking the Intercontinental Champion in the back of the head with a punch. Umaga mounted Hardy and dropped some elbows to his face all while keeping the hold on the young IC champ.

Hardy fought back with some punches to the gut before Umaga absolutely took Hardy’s head clean off his shoulder with a brutal lariat. Umaga went to the top for a big splash, but Jeff managed to roll out of the way. Hardy mounted the top turnbuckle himself and hit the Swanton Bomb but Umaga kicked out just in the knick of time. Hardy went for the Twist of Fate but was tossed into the ropes and killed with a big Samoan Drop.

Umaga dumped Hardy upside down in the corner and hit the flying head butt to Hardy’s limp carcass. Hardy lay limp in the corner and Umaga killed him with a running bump butt. Umaga hit a second shot to the head. Hardy was out like a light bulb. The referee called the match.

Winner: Umaga via Knock Out

After the match Umaga kept on having fun, hitting another running bump butt. He grabbed the referee and gave him a Samoan Spike. He picked up the nearly unconscious Hardy and gave him the Samoan Spike as well, leaving bodies all over the ring.

The World’s Greatest Tag Team & Johnny Nitro v. The Hardy Boyz

Both Hardy Boyz walked very gingerly to the ring. Shelton mocked Matt Hardy a little before locking up with him. Benjamin clamped on a front face lock while Hardy tried to fight out. Shelton caught an arm wringer and worked Matt to the mat before getting caught briefly in a head scissors. Benjamin quickly regained the advantage and bullied Hardy in the corner before Matt fought his way out and tagged in Jeff.

Jeff hit some boots to the gut before Shelton connected with a big back suplex. Charlie Haas tagged in and hit Jeff with some clubbing blows to the back before choking him out with his knee. Haas bullied Jeff to the corner and hit some shoulder thrusts before distracting the official allowing Nitro and Shelton to give some more grief to Jeff.

Nitro tagged in and hit some knees in the corner before putting the boots to Jeff. Nitro connected with some stiff forearms before knocking Jeff back to the corner. Nitro landed some punches before Jeff reversed positions and landed some shots of his own. Nitro whipped Hardy to the corner, but Jeff countered with a whisper to the wind.

Jeff struggled to his corner but Nitro beat him to the tag. Haas came in and went for a back body drop but Jeff countered and tagged in his brother Matt. Matt hit a vertical suplex and went for the first cover attempt of the match but Haas kicked out.

Matt whipped Haas to the corner and Jeff came in and hit the leap frog senton into the corner. Jeff and Matt tossed out the WGTT before Matt picked up his brother and tossed him to the outside, sending him crashing into their opponents. Matt quickly followed up with a top rope moonsault to the floor. The crowd chanted ‘holy sh_t’ as we went to commercial

****Commercial****

We came back to Charlie Haas holding onto a rear chin lock on Jeff. Jeff pushed Haas off of him but Shelton came in from behind and hit a chop block on Jeff to keep him neutralized. Shelton tagged in and cinched in a half crab. Jeff fought out eventually but Shelton tracked him down before he could get to the corner to tag in his brother. Shelton dragged Jeff far away enough before cleaning out Matt on the apron to prevent a tag.

Haas tagged in and continued to work over the knee of Hardy. Haas put Jeff into an Indian death-lock and used Shelton for some leverage near their corner. Nitro tagged in and continued the leg-assault, playing the boots to Hardy on the mat. Nitro pulled out all the stops to continue the assault on the leg , using the apron to do his dirty work before drop kicking him to the outside. Melina took some liberties with Jeff before Haas tossed him back in the ring.

Shelton tagged in and went back to the half crab while yanking away at Jeff’s hair. Jeff eventually fought back and hit a wheel kick before finally tagging in Matt. Matt cleaned house on the World's Greatest Tag Team, hitting the clothesline/bulldog combo. Matt hit the side effect on both Shelton and Haas, before going for a cover on Benjamin, but Haas broke it up. Matt tossed Haas to the outside and went for the twist of fate on Benjamin. Haas recovered quickly while Johnny Nitro assaulted Jeff Hardy on the outside. Haas leapt up on the apron and brained Matt in the head. Shelton rolled up Matt and held the tights to score the pin fall.

Winners: Johnny Nitro & The World’s Greatest Tag Team via pin fall

After the match Nitro continued the assault creaming Jeff Hardy with his own belt. After a few more minutes of beat down, he plopped Jeff’s Intercontinental Championship belt on his waist and stood above him, saying he’d see him at New Year’s Revolution.

Umaga defeated Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy in a non-title match
